  • ½ tablespoon lemon zest
  • tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the heavy cream, sugar, and kosher salt. Whip the mixture until soft peaks form, being careful not to overwhip.
  2. In another bowl, mix together the lemon zest, lemon juice, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  3. Gradually fold the lemon mixture into the whipped cream using a rubber spatula, maintaining the airy texture.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a serving dish or individual cups, cover, and chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  5. When ready to serve, dish it out and garnish with additional lemon zest.

Notes

Store leftover lemon cream dessert in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Can be made a day in advance for gatherings. Make sure to use fresh lemons for the best flavor.
